Message from the President

Allow me to express my sincere gratitude for your continuing support and interest in the Sapporo Group.

On July 1, 2026, Sapporo Holdings Limited absorbed the former Sapporo Breweries Limited in a merger and made a fresh start as the new Sapporo Breweries Limited.

Since our founding, we at the Sapporo Group have worked together with our customers to pursue both economic and social value by providing enriching lifestyles through the unique brand assets we have built. As we reach our milestone 150th anniversary in 2026, we will continue taking advantage of the brands and assets cultivated over our history to rise to the challenges of the next 100 years.

We regard this merger as an important change necessary to advance One SAPPORO management, which aims to implement the Group’s management philosophy of "Pioneering the legacy of tomorrow." We will now be pursuing a more dynamic growth strategy to enhance the Group’s value sustainably.

The market environment within which we operate is changing dramatically. Diversifying customer preferences and intensifying global competition are expected to progress further going forward. The Sapporo Group is addressing these changes by taking action guided by the Bonds with Community and Healthier Choice strategies presented in our Medium to Long-Term Growth Strategy. This entails increasing experiential value by using our brands to provide exciting experiences and new ways to enjoy our products, as well as creating new value in the non-alcoholic beverages and soft drinks sectors. The Group is pursuing these objectives by actively investing in growth opportunities both in Japan and overseas.

However, companies also have a responsibility to address climate change and other societal issues. To continue as a company that operates in harmony with the environment and prospers in conjunction with society, we will continue working to implement sustainability management.
